In a recent interview, Viper discussed the impact of the 'Clid incident' (involving allegations of sexual harassment against a female fan).

During the 2023 LCK Summer Split, HLE faced turmoil due to a player's personal life issues, resulting in a key player departing mid-season. Despite HLE's upward trajectory, they promoted a substitute player from their academy team after the incident. However, they couldn't overcome the limitations and concluded the season with a regrettable outcome.

Viper acknowledged the immense psychological distress caused by the event: 'It was undeniably a significant blow. Although it was my first time being on the same team as that player, losing someone who shared both joy and hardship was an unprecedented feeling. It was an abrupt turn of events. Not only me, but everyone felt this way.'

However, Viper expressed, 'Due to the long hiatus which was unusual, I could adjust my mindset fully.' 'I've learned areas that need improvement and should be able to perform better next year.
