Spirit overcome Liquid and emergency stand-in Timado to reach PARI Universe lower final

Team Spirit defeated Team Liquid 2–1 in the PARI Universe lower-bracket semifinal, ending Liquid’s run in fourth place with $15,000.

Liquid entered the series with an enforced roster change. After helping eliminate OG earlier that day, miCKe became unavailable because of illness, prompting Timado to stand in at carry.

Batyuk helps Spirit establish the lead

Spirit opened with a 41–18 victory in 45:29. Batyuk ’s Centaur Warrunner was particularly effective, finishing 12/1/16, while Yatoro added 10/3/10 on Sven.

Liquid responded in Game 2, winning in 46: 33 to Force a decider. They finished behind 27–40 in kills, but secured the game victory despite that deficit.

Wisper recorded 9/3/12 on Timbersaw, while Timado contributed 5/5/13 on Dragon Knight. Spirit ’s Yatoro finished 16/3/6 on Kez, but that individual performance could Not prevent Liquid from levelling the series.

Larl led the way with 16/2/14 on Snapfire, supported by Yatoro ’s 8/1/7 on Ursa and Batyuk ’s 9/5/15 on Doom.
