Topson explains return to OG and says it could be where he ends his career

Topias " Topson " Taavitsainen has explained why he returned to professional Dota 2 with OG for the 2026/27 season, saying the organization where his career took off could potentially also be where it ends.

Topson returned to OG as part of the organization's new roster after a period away from full-time professional competition.

Speaking during BLAST Slam VIII, the two-time The International champion discussed both his decision to resume competing and why OG was the team he chose for his comeback.

He pointed to his long history with the organization, where he won The International in 2018 and 2019, and suggested that the connection played a role in his decision.

Topson said he began his career with OG and raised the possibility that he could also finish it there.

His return is one of the most notable roster moves heading into the new competitive season, with OG currently competing at BLAST Slam VIII.
