Moon replaces Xm for Xtreme Gaming at BLAST Slam VIII

Kam " Moon " Boon Seng will stand in for Xtreme Gaming at BLAST Slam VIII, replacing Guo " Xm " Hongcheng in the mid lane.

Xtreme announced the change shortly before the tournament began, with Xm unavailable because of personal circumstances.

Moon steps into Xtreme lineup

Xtreme had initially registered Gao " Setsu " Zhenxiong as Xm 's replacement before changing plans and adding Moon instead.

The organization did not publicly explain the switch between stand-ins.

Moon most recently competed with Yakult's Brothers and previously enjoyed a long career in Southeast Asian Dota, most notably with Mineski .

Xtreme open against LGD

Moon 's first series with the team will come against LGD Gaming in Group A of BLAST Slam VIII.

The tournament runs from September 29 to October 11 with 16 teams competing for a $750,000 prize pool.

The opening stage is played online before six teams advance to the LAN playoffs in Malta .
