daze says NAVI have resolved issues after difficult previous season

Natus Vincere support Tamir "daze" Tokpanov believes the team has solved many of the problems that hurt them last season following their runner-up finish at PGL Wallachia Season 9.

NAVI reached the grand final in Bucharest after a lengthy lower-bracket run before eventually losing 0:3 to Team Yandex .

LGD defeat gave NAVI confidence

daze said NAVI's upper-bracket loss to LGD Gaming ultimately helped the team gain confidence heading into the lower bracket.

The team subsequently defeated Team Nemesis , Aurora Gaming and Xtreme Gaming before beating LGD 2:1 in the lower-bracket final to earn a rematch with Team Yandex .

daze also credited coach Aske "Cy-" Larsen for NAVI's preparation against Xtreme Gaming , saying the team was able to rely on its own strategies rather than trying to overcomplicate the series.

NAVI rebound after difficult season

The result represented a major improvement for NAVI after a season in which the organization failed to qualify for both The International and the Esports World Cup.

daze said the team had suffered through numerous losses during that period but believes many of those issues have now been resolved.

NAVI will look to carry that momentum into the new competitive season after finishing second at PGL Wallachia Season 9.
