LGD sweep MOUZ to claim final PGL Wallachia playoff berth

LGD Gaming have claimed the final playoff spot at PGL Wallachia Season 9 after defeating MOUZ 2:0 in the last series of the group stage.

Both teams entered the deciding Round 5 match with identical 2–2 records, leaving no margin for error.

LGD responded with a clean sweep to finish the Swiss stage at 3–2.

The result completed the eight-team playoff field alongside Xtreme Gaming , Team Yandex , Natus Vincere , Aurora Gaming, GamerLegion , 1w Team , and Team Nemesis .

MOUZ finish the tournament with a 2–3 series record after previously defeating Pibbles Corp and Hokori during the group stage.

The PGL Wallachia Season 9 playoffs begin on September 24 and will use a double-elimination bracket.

The tournament carries a $1 million prize pool, with $300,000 reserved for the champion.
