Team Spirit , OG and PARIVISION headline BLAST Slam VIII field

Team Spirit , OG , and PARIVISION are among the 16 teams confirmed for BLAST Slam VIII, which will take place in Malta from September 29 to October 11.

Twelve teams received direct invitations to the tournament, while four secured their places through regional qualifiers.

The event will feature teams from Europe, CIS, Asia, and other regions, with several organizations set to debut new or recently rebuilt lineups following The International 2026.

First major test for post-TI rosters

BLAST Slam VIII will be one of the first major tournaments of the 2026–27 season.

The field includes several of the strongest teams from the previous campaign, including reigning The International champion Team Spirit and runner-up PARIVISION.

OG will also compete after undergoing significant roster changes during the post-TI reshuffle.

BetBoom Team are among the other confirmed participants and will enter the event with a new-look lineup following gpk 's break, Save-'s move to mid, the signing of swedenstrong , and TORONTOTOKYO 's appointment as coach.

BLAST Slam VIII will be played on LAN in Malta , with the 16 teams competing for a $750,000 prize pool.
