Xtreme Gaming part ways with four players and coach LaNm ahead of new season

Xtreme Gaming have announced a major roster overhaul ahead of the next Dota 2 season, parting ways with four players and head coach Zhang "LaNm" Zhicheng.

The departures leave Wang "Ame" Chunyu as the only remaining player from the team's previous starting lineup.

Xtreme Gaming confirm five departures

The organization announced the exits following discussions with the players and said the decision was made by mutual agreement.

The departing members are:

• Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang

• Lin "Xxs" Jing

• Xu "fy" Linsen

• Ye "xNova" Jian-Wei

• Zhang "LaNm" Zhicheng — coach

Xtreme Gaming thanked all five for their contributions and wished them success in their future careers.

Ame becomes lone remaining starter

The move effectively dismantles the roster that represented Xtreme Gaming during the 2025–2026 season.

Ame is now the only remaining member of the active lineup.

The scale of the changes immediately raises questions about how the organization plans to rebuild around its veteran carry ahead of the next competitive season.

The overhaul follows a difficult campaign at The International 2026.

Xtreme Gaming failed to reproduce the deep run they achieved one year earlier and were eliminated before reaching the later stages of the tournament.

The result marked a significant drop from The International 2025, where Xtreme Gaming reached the grand final before losing 2:3 to Team Falcons .

Xxs and xNova were both part of that runner-up roster.

NothingToSay and fy joined ahead of the 2025–2026 season as Xtreme attempted to strengthen the lineup for another championship push.

LaNm remained behind the team as head coach during the latest iteration.

Post-TI rebuild begins

The announcement arrives during one of the busiest post-The International shuffle periods in recent memory.

Xtreme Gaming have already been linked with potential roster changes involving several major Chinese players, while previous rumors suggested the organization could reunite Ame with XinQ and former PSG.LGD coach xiao8 .

For now, none of those moves have been officially confirmed.

What is certain is that Xtreme Gaming will enter the next season with an almost completely rebuilt lineup centered around Ame.
