Team Nemesis coach says organization wants long-term project to return SEA to the top
Team Nemesis coach Leon "Arthur" Lee Wei Yip has explained the organization's plans for its rebuilt Dota 2 roster, saying the project is designed around a long-term goal of restoring Southeast Asia as a major force in international competition.
Arthur joined the organization after previously working with GLYPH and brought several players from his former team into the new Nemesis lineup.
Nemesis rebuild around Jabz
Arthur said Team Nemesis approached him with the idea of rebuilding its Southeast Asian roster together with captain Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong.
The coach explained that he quickly realized the organization shared a similar philosophy regarding team management and long-term development.
That convinced him to accept the position.
Arthur also brought three players from GLYPH whom he said he strongly believes in both as competitors and teammates.

Long-term vision for Southeast Asia
Rather than building solely around short-term qualification goals, Arthur said Nemesis wants a project capable of developing over time.
The organization previously moved away from its Southeast Asian core after struggling to reach The International 2026, but later committed to rebuilding around Jabz.
That approach has already produced an early result.
Team Nemesis recently qualified for BLAST Slam VIII after sweeping Execration 2:0 in the Southeast Asian closed qualifier.
Arthur believes the roster has the potential to compete internationally while also helping strengthen SEA's position within professional Dota 2.
Alliance return also discussed
Arthur was also asked about the possibility of Alliance returning to Dota 2.
The Swedish organization has recently been linked with a potential new roster during the ongoing post-The International shuffle, including reports that two-time TI champion Topson could become a centerpiece of the project.
No Alliance roster has been officially announced.
For Team Nemesis , however, the direction is already clear: build around an experienced Southeast Asian core and give the project enough time to develop rather than repeatedly reshuffling after individual tournament results.
