Level UP have secured a place at BLAST Slam VIII after defeating Team Lynx 2:1 in the decisive stage of the European closed qualifier.
The victory gives Level UP one of the two available European spots at the $750,000 tournament.
Team Lynx entered the qualification match after defeating HULIGANI 2:1 in the previous round.
Level UP had also been forced through a three-map opening series, overcoming Pipsqueak+4 2:1 to keep their qualification hopes alive.
The two teams again required all three games to decide the series, with Level UP ultimately emerging on top.
Level UP secure European slot
The victory confirms Level UP as one of Europe's representatives at BLAST Slam VIII.
Team Lynx , meanwhile, are eliminated from the qualifier after falling one series short of the main event.
BLAST Slam VIII will run from September 29 to October 11 and feature 16 teams competing for a $750,000 prize pool.
