However, it's clear that by “Team A,” he meant Talon Esports , and his former teammates referred to the core trio of 2023: Rafli “Mikoto” Fathur Rahman, Worawit “Q” Mekchai, and Chan “Oli” Chon Kien, with whom Talon achieved international success. Financial difficulties quickly dismantled the reunited roster. 23savage confirmed that he is looking for a new team and hinted that he has already joined “Team B.”

Only Q and Oli remain in the current situation. Despite the conflict, 23savage emphasized that his dissatisfaction was not directed at the players and staff, noting their honesty and sincerity.
$1 Million Scandal
Talon's financial problems date back to August 2025, when crypto trader @hedgedhog7 accused the organization of not returning $1 million, which Talon promised to repay within 1-2 weeks. In reality, the repayment took almost two months, and $75,000 in interest was never paid.
The organization stated that settlements with the players would be completed by September 30, 2025, but 23savage's post in October indicates that obligations were not met.
Withdrawal from BLAST Slam IV and Uncertain Future
Amid the crisis, Talon officially withdrew from BLAST Slam IV—the first Tier 1 tournament after TI14 this year. Their spot was taken by Execration , further reinforcing the impression of Talon's inability to field a full roster.
Previously, Talon was considered one of the strongest teams in Southeast Asia, achieving international success including third place at the Riyadh Masters 2023. However, the future of the organization in Dota 2, and possibly in esports as a whole, remains highly uncertain.
The organization continues to field rosters in other disciplines, including League of Legends, Valorant, Rainbow 6 Siege, and others, but its reputation in Dota 2 has been significantly damaged.
