Dota 2 Online Player Count Rises by Over 77,000 Following Compendium Release

With the release of the new Compendium in Dota 2, online player activity has significantly increased. Within a day, the number of users rose by 77,000, and the peak concurrent online players reached 812,994.

This marks only the third time in the game's history that the number of active users has exceeded 500,000. The first such surge occurred back in 2022 during the Arcana giveaway, and the second happened last year with the release of the Crownfall event, which generated massive excitement within the community.

The new results prove that interest in the game remains consistently high, especially during the release of large-scale events and festive updates.

The International 2025 will take place from September 4 to 15. Teams will compete for the Aegis of Champions and a prize pool of $1,600,000 plus a portion of the Compendium proceeds.
