The International 2025 Prize Pool Grows Over $100,000 Within 24 Hours of Compendium Release

Less than 24 hours after the release of the compendium, the prize pool for The International 2025 increased by more than $100,000. This surge was made possible thanks to the enthusiastic support of fans who began purchasing support bundles for their favorite teams and talents en masse.

The starting prize pool for the main Dota 2 tournament was $1,600,000, a sum traditionally provided by Valve itself. At the time of writing, it has already reached $1,717,149 and continues to grow.

The compendium, which appeared in the game the day before, brought new content to players: team bundles, commentator phrases including, for the first time, not only the official TI languages. Dota Plus discounts on Aegis copies and treasures, as well as cosmetic updates for the profile. 

Special mention should be made of the team and talent support bundles. They contain exclusive emoticons, graffiti, and other items, costing a few dollars, with part of their price going directly to the TI 2025 prize pool, encouraging its rapid growth.
