ESL has concluded its investigation into Team Spirit , noting multiple violations

The abuse of the Smoke bug report has been released, stating that Team Spirit deployed it on seven occasions during the ESL One Raleigh 2025 qualifiers.

“We have gamesbugs that feature in some games of the Team. They are rarely used, and usually for critical moments on Smoke of Deceit”

The abuse of the bug from Team Spirit qualified in the report as non-systematic, meaning they used it, but not extensively, probably a few times during the qualifiers. Because they did not exceed the limits of acceptable deviation, the team was issued a warning and a fine but no disqualification was made.

Interestingly, within the tier-1 teams, it is Tundra Esports who made informal use of the bug more often than Team Spirit , having nine cases of misconduct according to the ESL report.

As a reminder, 9Pandas utilized the bug 160 times and along with two other teams were disqualified.
