1win replaced a player who died 31 times
1win Team announced that they will compete in the 1win Series Fall tournament with Ilya "Squad1x" Kuvaldin instead of Ilya "Chira Junior" Chirzov.
This was shared by the team's coach, Timur "Ahilles" Kulmukhametov, on his Telegram channel.
"We really tried everything to keep the current lineup and deliver the performance we expect from ourselves. Unfortunately, we couldn't do that. Chira is being sent to the bench. He's a great talent and was a discovery for me last season. Not everyone can leave a tier 3 team and outplay the best players in the world. I'm sure this decision will benefit both the team and Chira"
Ahilles emphasized that Chira Junior will be benched, and in his place, Virtus.Pro mid-laner will play with the team in the tournament. The new member of the roster has not been revealed yet, and Chira Junior has not commented on the situation.
However, many were surprised to learn that during the ESL One Bangkok qualifiers, the esports player died 31 times across three maps, surpassing everyone in that statistic.
