The creator of Dota 2 reached out to Team Liquid after their victory at The International 2024
Abdul "IceFrog" Ismail, one of the creators of the original Dota 2, congratulated Team Liquid on their victory at The International 2024.
The community legend posted his congratulations on his X page.
"Congratulations to Team Liquid on winning The International!"
It's worth noting that this has become his annual tradition, as for the past few years, he has only posted congratulations to the winning team of The International. However, his first message of the year created a buzz among Dota 2 fans and garnered thousands of likes.
This reaction stems from rumors suggesting that IceFrog had left Valve and was no longer involved with Dota 2. Other insiders claimed that the game designer remained with the company but was exclusively working on Deadlock, with another team now overseeing the MOBA.
Previously, Anton " dyrachyo " Shkredov stunned fans with an emotional statement following his defeat at The International 2024.
