Team Spirit shared how to break into the Dota 2 pro scene
Vyacheslav "Art1st" Lyadnov, the host of Team Spirit , shared that to break into esports, it's essential to socialize extensively and make the right connections.
Additionally, one should be prepared for Dota 2 to consume almost all of their time for several years.
He discussed this in a new video on the KD CAST YouTube channel.
"You need to make contacts and play a lot. You have to understand that your entire life for the next 5-6 years will be dedicated solely to the game, and you must be ready for that, as well as for failure. When I started playing, I had no Plan B—either I would die or become a pro player, and as you can see, I didn’t die, so I got lucky. It's very important to be able to connect with people"
He emphasized that a career as a pro player is not an easy path. You need to dedicate several years to Dota 2 to achieve success on the pro scene. Furthermore, to break into a team, you will need connections, so Art1st recommends getting to know people and not being afraid to socialize to build the necessary network.
