Quinn revealed the real reason for his nickname change

Quinn ‘Quinn’ Callahan decided to drop the nickname CCnC because the cyber athlete was asked its meaning too often, causing him to decide to just use his own name in Dota 2.

The  Gaimin Gladiators  mid commented on the nickname change in a video from the Riyadh Masters 2024, published on the club's official YouTube channel.

‘People kept asking me what it means. And I thought when I quit Dota, it would be really annoying if people kept asking me what it meant. So I just played ahead and changed my nickname.’

The cyber athlete also revealed that he was tired of the memes associated with his past nickname.

It is worth noting that Quinn ‘Quinn’ Callahan deciphered the meaning of his old nickname as ‘Cool, Calm and Collected’, saying that at the time it was true, but his career in Dota 2 has negatively affected the character of the cyber athlete.
