Legendary Puppey announced that he might leave the pro Dota 2 scene after The International 2024

The professional Dota 2 scene might not see Clement " Puppey " Ivanov anymore after The International 2024. He doesn’t know if he will play or form a team next season.

This was during a conversation with streamer Alexander “ Nix ” Levin.

“I didn't think of it that way earlier, I said the same thing last time, depending on how I feel. Next week when every team is thinking about where they want to play, I’m going to decide if I want to play. What I will do, what team I will make, whether I will wait or not. About whether I need to do something or not, I wouldn't give too much thought. Because usually things work out for themselves when you work for yourself”

He still hesitates about his plans and does not exclude playing the next season. In particular,  Team Secret  defeats weigh heavily on him. He confessed that this affected their morale and performance negatively.

“What can be said? It is possible that one of my team-mates plays badly; maybe it’s me who plays bad; bad thoughts; who knows? Many things are as good as all this combined together Sometimes we lose games despite the fact that sometimes it seems like i have played very well at least in some games After that it becomes difficult to go on trying and hence demoralize and end up playing terribly If you don’t win then you can’t feel good about yourself no matter what happens”

Earlier Puppey called Dota 2 history’s two best players and noted that Yatoro has yet failed to reach their level.
