On Inferno, chosen by 3DMAX , the Europeans dominated early (7-1), but then MIBR found their rhythm and reduced the gap to 5-7. After switching sides, 3DMAX won the pistol round but then lost six rounds consecutively. However, in a crucial moment, 3DMAX regrouped and took six rounds consecutively, securing a 13-11 victory and closing the series 2-0.
Virtus.pro defeated Wildcard
The Russian team Virtus.pro overcame Wildcard 2-0 (Dust II 13-10; Inferno 13-10). On Dust II, their pick, Virtus.pro lost the first two rounds but then won nine consecutively, ending the first half 9-3. Wildcard tried to make a comeback after switching sides, but Virtus.pro took crucial rounds, leading to a 13-10 victory.
