PGL returns to Krakow after ten years
PGL has officially announced its return to Krakow in 2027 with a top-level tournament. The competition will take place from 13 to 25 January at the legendary TAURON Arena, which hosted the landmark PGL Major Kraków 2017.
Anniversary of the landmark event
PGL Major Kraków 2017 has become a historic event for esports. The tournament gathered 16 of the world's strongest CS:GO teams, and its final between Gambit Esports and IMMORTALS took place in front of a sold-out arena. Players and viewers enjoyed the first broadcast in 1080p 60 fps, which set new standards for esports broadcasting.

What to expect from PGL Kraków 2027?
PGL Kraków 2027 will be the first major tournament of the year and one of the key stages in the esports calendar. The prize pool of the competition will be an impressive amount, and the best teams in the world will fight for the trophy in the new era of Counter-Strike 2.
The full list of participants will be announced closer to the tournament, which will bring together the best teams according to Valve Regional Standings. The format of the competition, as well as details about tickets and schedule will be published on the official PGL resources before the tournament.
This tournament will not overlap with other major events such as ESL or BLAST, which will make it one of the main competitions in early 2027. PGL is also expected to introduce new technological solutions in production that will further enhance the broadcast quality.
TAURON Arena, which seats more than 15,000 spectators, will once again become an arena of fierce confrontations, and fans of Counter-Strike 2 will be able to experience the magic of big eSports in the heart of Poland .
