ESL Impact League S6 player Jennifer “bored3m” Ivanova admits to using cheats in CS2

Jennifer “bored3m” Ivanova, one of the top players of the ESL Impact League S6 season, has admitted to using cheats during a recent game in Counter-Strike 2 Premier Mode. This incident caused a wave of outrage in the CS2 community, as Ivanova admitted to using “wallhacks” and “aimbot” on her main account “for fun”.

Accusations and evidence
The scandal broke out on February 2, when a player told Dust2.us that he had met Ivanov in a game on the Dust2 map on January 31. He accused her of using obvious cheats such as wallhacks and aimbot. The report was accompanied by clips showing Ivanova playing under the nickname “ swag ” making impossible hits through walls and trying to pierce impenetrable surfaces.

Using tools such as Leetify, Dust2.us established a connection between the “ swag ” account and a private Steam account and FACEIT profile called “bored3m.” This profile was also linked to the page of the FLUFFY MAFIA team in the ESEA league, for which Ivanova played in 2024 .

Confession of cheating
After the confrontation, Ivanova admitted to using cheats, explaining that she did it “for fun.” Screenshots of her messages show her saying that she “cheated for a short time, just to enjoy the game.” This admission raised serious doubts about her professional reputation and future in esports.

Community reaction
The CS2 community greeted the news with shock and disappointment. Fans and professional players are demanding severe sanctions, emphasizing the importance of maintaining integrity in the competition. Of particular concern is the fact that Ivanova was highly ranked in the ESL Impact League rankings.

Consequences and further actions
This incident casts a shadow over the professional scene, especially the ESL Impact League, which aims to support professionalism in women's esports. It is not yet known whether ESL or Valve will impose sanctions on Ivanov, including possible bans from tournaments.

This case highlights the need for stricter controls and penalties in professional competitions to maintain the trust of players and fans.
