More than 1,000 teams have registered for IEM Dallas 2025 EU Open Qualifier

The Open Qualifier for IEM Dallas 2025 has set a new record for the number of participants among all non-major tournaments. This was announced by ESL's Director of Game Ecosystem, Mark Winter. The organizers increased the team limit from 1024 to 2048.

Registration for the qualifier has already closed. Confirmation began at 16:45 CET, and the matches themselves start at 18:00 CET. The tournament will feature many strong teams that did not secure a spot in the closed qualifiers, as well as various mixes. At the moment, with significant issues in Valve rankings, such qualifiers are very valuable and rare.

Six teams from the open qualifier will advance to the closed qualifier. There, ten invited participants are already waiting for them. In turn, only five teams will make it from the closed qualifier to the main stage of IEM Dallas 2025.

IEM Dallas 2025 will take place from May 19 to 25. Teams will compete for a prize pool of 300 thousand dollars.
