Starladder officially announced the cancellation of the StarSeries S19 tournament. These changes are related to the expanded format of the Major by Valve, which required schedule adjustments.

Cancellation of StarSeries S19
Starladder confirmed the cancellation of StarSeries S19 due to overlapping with the extended schedule of the Austin Major. Valve increased the number of Major participants to 32 teams, extending its duration and making it impossible to hold the Starladder tournament from May 26 to June 1.

It was impossible to reschedule the tournament due to a packed calendar, stated Starladder.

Details of StarSeries S20
The only major event from Starladder in 2025 will be StarSeries S20, which will take place from September 13 to 21 in Budapest, Hungary . The tournament will gather 16 teams, which will be determined through regional qualifiers:

North America: Qualifier will take place from July 15 to 21, eight teams, one slot for the tournament.
South America: Qualifier will take place from July 15 to 21, eight teams, one slot for the tournament.
Europe : Qualifier will take place from August 12 to 17, 16 teams, two slots for the tournament.
Invitations to the qualifiers will be distributed based on Valve's rankings, and all matches will be played in a BO3 format. Invitations will begin to be sent on July 4.
