Wildcard Crowned Champions of Frost and Fire Europe

Wildcard became the champions of Frost and Fire Europe Season 1 and managed to secure a victory in the first tournament of the new season. This win could give the team confidence at the beginning of the season and help achieve significant results in the future.

Tournament Bracket
Thanks to their high position in the Valve rankings, Wildcard received an invitation directly to the tournament's Quarterfinals, while other teams played in the group stage and the first round of the playoffs. In the first round, Wildcard faced Insilio , whom they defeated 2:1. In the semifinals, they faced Sinners , where the match ended quickly, and the team won with a score of 2:0.

For 9 Pandas, the situation was similar to Wildcard, as the team received a direct invitation to the tournament quarterfinals and almost reached the finals without issues, where they faced the American organization.

Final Details
The first map was Dust2, chosen by Wildcard, where the first half ended 8:4 in favor of 9 Pandas, but in the second half, they managed a strong comeback and won the map 13:11. On Nuke, chosen by 9 Pandas, the first half ended with a dominant score of 10:2 in their favor. In the second half, Wildcard could only take 4 rounds and lost the map 6:13.

On the final map, Inferno, 9 Pandas started confidently and won the first half again with a score of 8:4. However, the second half was a strong performance by Wildcard, where they were able to come back and win the half 9:1. Thus, the map ended with a score of 13:9 in favor of Wildcard.

Tournament MVP
The title of MVP of the tournament went to Evgeniy " r3salt " Frolov, who, despite his team's loss in the final, delivered an excellent tournament. His rating for the tournament was 6.7.

For first place in the final, Wildcard received $20,000, and 9 Pandas received $10,000. For 3rd-4th place, Sinners and EYEBALLERS received $5,000.
