Recently, the team captain of FURIA Esports , FalleN, shared his power ranking of the participating teams for the upcoming IEM Rio event in a video. It is worth noting that his ranking was made before Imperial replaced Rare Atom in the competition.
According to FalleN, the strongest tier S consists of three teams: Natus Vincere , Vitality , and G2. These three teams are all champions of major tournaments in the second half of the year.
Tier A includes four teams: Mouz , Liquid, Eternal Fire , and FaZe. As for FURIA, they are placed in tier B along with the remaining teams.
FURIA will face FaZe in their first match at the IEM Rio event.
