NIP defeated Heroic at ESL Pro League Season 20: the match was marred by scandal

After the first map of Ancient , which Heroic won with a score of 13:10, it became known that one of the team's players used the banned Snap Tap, which led to a technical defeat for Heroic .

Heroic dominated the Ancient map, but after checking, the judges found a violation of the rules - one of the team's players used Snap Tap, which was banned at this tournament. This resulted in a technical defeat for Heroic , and NIP got their first victory in the series without even finishing the game in their favor.

NIP prove their strength on Nuke and Vertigo

After losing the first map, Heroic managed to rally and win on Nuke with a score of 13:7, but on the decisive Vertigo, NIP took control, ending the match with a score of 13:6 in their favor.  R1nkle , a NIP player, was recognized as the MVP of the match, showing a great game with a rating of 8.7 on Vertigo.

After the victory, NIP continue their journey in the tournament and will meet  Natus Vincere  tomorrow. The ESL Pro League Season 20 tournament takes place from September 3 to 22, 2024 in Malta , where teams compete for a prize pool of $750,000.
