FURIA Esports ease past Virtus.pro at BB Dacha
FURIA Esports have booked an upper bracket semi-final spot against Spirit by sweeping Virtus.pro down to the lower bracket.
The 2-0 win was representative of FURIA Esports 's recovery in form since losing their opening Dacha play-in match to 9 Pandas with a re-energized squad now on a four-game winning streak.
Virtus.pro , meanwhile, have won just two of their last nine matches (against BIG and Zero Tenacity , neither of which are in the top 20) and continue to struggle since signing denis " electronic " Sharipov.
Their lower bracket opponents will be Falcons , who have beaten Dzhami " Jame " Ali's side in their last three meetings, leaving Virtus.pro with an uphill struggle to escape their slump.

The match itself was characterized by two fairly close first halves, with FURIA Esports barreling down the stretch and ending both maps of their 2-0 victory with six-round winning streaks.
There were times the pendulum swung against FURIA Esports , such as this Jame 1vs3 clutch on Mirage, but FURIA Esports replied with a clutch apiece by Kaike " KSCERATO " Cerato and YURI " yuurih " Santos to end the half in the lead.
"We're better in and out of the server," Gabriel " FalleN " Toledo told Pala "Pala" Gilroy Sen and Anastasija "Heccu" Tolmačeva on stage post-match. "We're 'crying' less inside the server. When someone does a mistake or someone fucks up, we're letting it go and playing the next."
