IEM Cologne 2024 is organized by ESL and boasts a prize pool of $1,000,000. The event is being held at the LANXESS Arena in Cologne from August 7 to August 18, 2024, featuring 24 top-tier teams competing for the grand prize.

The prize distribution for the tournament is as follows:

• The champion will take home $400,000 along with 3,000 BLAST Premier Points.
• The runner-up will receive $180,000 and 2,000 BLAST Premier Points.
• Teams placing third and fourth will earn $80,000 and 1,200 BLAST Premier Points each.
• Teams finishing fifth and sixth will get $40,000 and 500 BLAST Premier Points each.
• Seventh and eighth-placed teams will be awarded $24,000 and 300 BLAST Premier Points each.
• Teams in the ninth to twelfth spots will receive $16,000 each.
• Those finishing thirteenth to sixteenth will earn $10,000 each.
• Seventeenth to twentieth place teams will get $4,500 each.
• Teams ending in the twenty-first to twenty-fourth positions will receive $2,500 each.
