DONK AWARDED BLAST PREMIER SPRING FINAL MVP
Danil "donk" Kryshkovets has been named the HLTV x 1xBet Most Valuable Player of the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 after leading the charge to Spirit 's second victory of the season.
After a (for his standards) lackluster IEM Dallas, his first event without an award, the 17-year-old returned to his impactful self in London .
He averaged a 1.33 rating (#2 at the event), 92.8 ADR (#1), 0.88 KPR (#1) and 1.45 Impact (#1), and had the consistency to boot map-to-map, with every map rated above 1.00, and round-to-round, with a 78.1% KAST (#5).
Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov was donk's biggest individual rival and made a solid case for himself with a difference-making semi-final performance against Vitality . In the end the AWPer was just edged out by his teammate even when looking at playoffs alone (1.24 rating vs. 1.25) thanks to donk's charge in the grand final against Natus Vincere .
What further underlined donk's case was his mega impact on Spirit 's round wins — 1.19 KPR and 114.4 ADR blowing sh1ro's 0.94 KPR and 92.5 ADR out of the water and speaking volumes of the ever-aggressive phenom's contribution to Spirit 's run to the title.
