cmtry faces missing Singapore Major with Astralis after FUT's Bucharest elimination

Astralis rifler cmtry is expected to miss the PGL Major Singapore because he remains attached to FUT’s Valve Regional Standings roster following his former team’s elimination from PGL Masters Bucharest.

FUT’s quarterfinal defeat to Nemiga was only SunPayus ’ fourth official series since joining the team. With no further scheduled matches before the 2 November invitation cutoff, he had not reached the FIVE -match requirement to replace cmtry on its VRS roster.

Different consequences for the two Players

According to HLTV, SunPayus can still Represent FUT at the Major as a substitute, although he would be ineligible for a player sticker. cmtry remains tied to FUT’s qualifying roster and therefore cannot be registered by Astralis .

FUT playing another eligible series before the cutoff could change that situation, but the organization had not announced such plans when the report was published.

Why Astralis brought Jabbi back

Astralis had already recalled Jabbi for Stake Ranked Episode 5 to prevent cmtry from reaching FIVE matches with its lineup.

A player appearing on two qualifying VRS rosters creates an invitation conflict: only the higher-ranked team receives the invite. At publication, FUT stood above Astralis in Europe ’s standings.
