FaZe sweep Alliance and K27 to strengthen Singapore Major qualification chances
FaZe secured first place in Group A at the RLG Tesla Cup with consecutive 2–0 victories, improving their position ahead of the Singapore Major invitation cutoff.
The results lifted FaZe’s estimated qualification probability to 98% in HLTV’s prediction model. That figure is a projection, with invitations still dependent on the final standings and eligibility requirements.
FaZe 2–0 Alliance
FaZe opened their campaign with a 13–6 victory on Ancient before overwhelming Alliance 13–2 on Mirage.
Ancient remained relatively competitive through the opening half, with FaZe leading 7–5. They then conceded only one round after the switch.
Mirage was considerably more one-sided. FaZe established an 11–1 halftime advantage, allowing Alliance just one additional round before completing the sweep.
FaZe 2–0 K27
The Group A winners’ match required more work, but FaZe again closed the series without dropping a map: 13–10 on Dust2 and 13–7 on Nuke.
Twistzz delivered the standout performance, finishing with 47 kills, 101 ADR and a 1.76 rating. His Dust2 contribution included 29 kills and a 1.94 rating.
JBOEN supported him with 35 kills and a 1.39 series rating.
FaZe built first-half leads on both maps, reaching 8–4 on Dust2 and 9–3 on Nuke, then converted those advantages into a place in the semifinals.
Timely wins before the invitation cutoff
The two LAN victories arrived shortly before the November 2 VRS cutoff for Singapore Major invitations.
FaZe advanced directly to the RLG Tesla Cup semifinals, scheduled for October 29, with further opportunities to strengthen their ranking.
