Sashi releases Hatz and TjP as Asian qualification project ends
Sashi has parted ways with Hatz and TjP, leaving the organization with only two active players following the collapse of its attempt to improve its Singapore Major qualification prospects through the Asian regional ranking.
Owner Claus “D0KT0R3N” Nielsen confirmed the departures to Dust2.dk, describing the separation as a mutual agreement.
Regional rule change disrupts the project
The Australian pair joined Sashi at the beginning of October, forming an Asian core alongside Anlelele, who holds Vietnamese citizenship.
The organization also recruited New Zealand AWPer chelleos but removed him before he made his competitive debut.
Sashi’s plans were subsequently affected by Valve’s revised regional-affiliation rules, which introduced a three-month waiting period before a regional change takes effect. Teams affected by the changes needed an exception to remain eligible for the Singapore Major qualification process.
Owner criticizes communication with Valve
D0KT0R3N said that poor results were not the reason for abandoning the project. Instead, he pointed to uncertainty over the rules and what he described as unanswered requests for clarification.
He also alleged that BC.Game received more favorable treatment when resolving its own situation. That claim represents the Sashi owner’s position.
With Hatz and TjP departing, Zyphon and Anlelele remain active under coach HUNDEN. AcoR, Cabbi and Beccie remain benched.
Sashi must now rebuild its lineup after finishing last at Stake Pulse Beat III and 17th–20th at DraculaN Season 7.
