PGL confirms six-event CS2 calendar for 2028 with $11 million investment

PGL has confirmed six Counter-Strike 2 events for 2028, revising its previously announced eight-event schedule while maintaining a combined annual investment of $11 million.

The updated calendar begins in January and concludes in October, with four tournaments scheduled before the middle of the year and two after the summer break.

Confirmed 2028 dates

• PGL #1: January 14–24

• PGL #2: February 9–21

• PGL #3: march 23–April 3

• PGL #4: April 19–May 1

• PGL #5: AUGUST 31–September 11

• PGL #6: October 4–16

Two previously announced windows removed

The revised schedule omits the events previously planned for AUGUST 16–28 and November 1–13. The AUGUST window coincided with the customary period for the CS Asia Championships.

The announcement fixes PGL’s six tournament windows for the year, giving teams a clearer basis for planning their schedules. The $11 million figure represents the organiser’s combined investment, rather than a newly announced prize pool for any individual event.
