FUT confirm SunPayus signing as cmtry moves to bench

FUT have completed the signing of Álvaro " SunPayus " García from G2, confirming an earlier report linking the Spanish AWPer with the team.

Nikita "cmtry" Samolotov has been moved to the bench to make room for the 27-year-old.

SunPayus returns to competition

SunPayus had been inactive since being moved out of G2's starting lineup during the summer break, when the organization brought in R1nkle .

His arrival gives FUT an experienced AWPer and another player capable of contributing to the team's mid-round calling.

cmtry's benching ends a lengthy run with the roster core dating back to its NAVI academy days.

The Ukrainian helped FUT win PGL Bucharest earlier in 2026 and earned the tournament's MVP award, although his overall LAN rating for the year had fallen to 1.00.

FUT now field Dem0N , krabeni , dziugss , xfl0ud and SunPayus under coach coolio , with cmtry and lauNX on the bench.

The team's next scheduled LAN is PGL Masters Bucharest beginning October 24.
