NIP beat GamerLegion to win first title under Krimbo

Ninjas in Pyjamas claimed the 1win Private Club Season 1 title after defeating GamerLegion 3:1 in the best-of-five grand final.

The trophy is NIP's first since Karim "Krimbo" Moussa took over leadership duties from Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer earlier in September.

NIP survive overtime opener

The final began with a marathon Ancient, where NIP eventually edged GamerLegion 19:17.

GamerLegion answered on Nuke with a 16:14 victory to level the series, but NIP took control from there.

Cache proved far more one-sided as NIP won 13:6 before closing Mirage 13:9 to secure the championship.

stavn delivers in the final

Martin "stavn" Lund led NIP across the series with 80 kills and a 1.27 rating.

His strongest performance came on Cache, where he posted a 1.84 map rating.

Krimbo finished the final with a 1.19 rating and had also been one of NIP's most consistent players throughout the tournament, averaging 1.18 overall.

NIP also finished the event with the highest T-side round win percentage at 57.5%.
