Wildcard eliminated NRG from iBUYPOWER Masters FML 2026 with a 2:0 victory in the Group A decider, securing revenge for their opening-round loss and booking a place in the playoffs.

NRG had beaten Wildcard 2:0 on the first day of the tournament, but the rematch went in the opposite direction as Wildcard closed Mirage 13:10 before taking Cache 13:9.

HexT leads Wildcard's revenge

Jadan "HexT" Postma produced the standout performance of the series, finishing with a 1.55 rating and 38 kills across the two maps.

Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk also delivered a strong series with 39 kills and a 1.30 rating, while Sebastian "fr3nd" Kuśmierz added a 1.21 rating.

Wildcard's victory sent NRG out of the tournament in 5th–6th place.

NRG lose valuable VRS opportunity

The defeat came less than ten days after NRG 's upset victory over Mouz at StarLadder StarSeries Fall, a result that had significantly improved their position in the Americas Valve Regional Standings.

NRG remain eighth in the regional ranking, but their position around the Major qualification line is under pressure as other Americas teams continue to collect points.

Wildcard, meanwhile, advance to the iBUYPOWER Masters FML playoffs after recovering from their opening loss to NRG .
