ZywOo reflects on ending Vitality 's trophy drought after StarSeries Fall win

ZywOo described Vitality 's StarSeries Fall championship as a relief after the team ended a lengthy spell without a trophy.

The French star helped Vitality defeat aurora 3:1 in the Grand Final before being named tournament MVP with a 1.50 overall rating.

"It's crazy to say it's been a while for us to win a trophy," ZywOo told HLTV following the victory.

First MVP of the season

The award was ZywOo 's first MVP medal of the current season and his 33rd overall.

Vitality 's year had become considerably more difficult after a dominant previous campaign, with roster interruptions and declining form preventing the team from maintaining the same level.

The return of mezii restored Vitality 's regular five-man lineup for StarSeries Fall.

The team still had to take the long route to the trophy after losing to aurora in the upper final, defeating FURIA Esports in the consolidation match before taking revenge in the Grand Final.

ZywOo said finally returning to the top provided a sense of release after several months without a championship.

Vitality will now look to carry that momentum into the final stretch of the season and the Singapore Major.
