Legacy and BETBOOM secure FISSURE Playground 3 semifinal berths

Legacy and BETBOOM secured direct places in the FISSURE Playground 3 semifinals after winning their respective upper-bracket finals.

Legacy defeated FURIA Esports 2:0 in an all-Brazilian Group B clash, while BETBOOM swept MIBR 2:0 in Group A.

The victories gave both teams quarterfinal byes, leaving FURIA Esports and MIBR to continue their tournament runs from the playoff quarterfinals.

Legacy 2:0 FURIA Esports

Legacy took control of their series against FURIA Esports after halftime on both maps.

Mirage opened with the two teams tied at 6:6, but Legacy proved significantly stronger on the T side after the break.

Andrei "arT" Piovezan's squad conceded only one additional round before closing FURIA Esports 's map pick 13:7.

Ancient followed a similar pattern.

The teams again reached halftime level at 6:6, before Legacy pulled away on the CT side and secured a 13:9 victory to complete the sweep.

Bruno "latto" Rebelatto led Legacy with 37 kills against 19 deaths, 80.0 ADR, an 83.3% KAST, and a 1.34 rating.

Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira followed with a 1.30 rating, while every Legacy player finished the series above a 1.00 rating.

MIBR 0:2 BETBOOM

BETBOOM prevented two Brazilian-majority teams from claiming direct semifinal places by defeating MIBR on Mirage and Anubis.

MIBR started strongly on Mirage and carried a 7:5 advantage into halftime, but BETBOOM completely reversed the momentum after switching sides.

The Russian lineup won eight of the next 10 rounds to take the map 13:9.

MIBR once again established an early advantage on Anubis, building an 8:4 lead during the opening half.

BETBOOM responded with an identical 8:4 half to force overtime at 12:12 before edging the additional rounds 4:2 to secure a 16:14 victory and complete the sweep.

Daniil "d1Ledez" Kustov finished as BETBOOM's highest-rated player with a 1.31 rating, while Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov led the server with 46 kills and 96.9 ADR.

Legacy and BETBOOM will now enter the playoffs directly in opposite semifinals, while MIBR and FURIA Esports must advance through the quarterfinal stage.
