5star sweep Chinggis Warriors to qualify for FISSURE Playground 3
5star have secured qualification for FISSURE Playground 3 after defeating Chinggis Warriors 2:0 in the Asia Closed Qualifier grand final.
The Mongolian squad completed an impressive undefeated run through the upper bracket and claimed the final available position at the $1 million LAN event in Suzhou.

The grand final represented a rematch from the opening round of the qualifier.
5star had started their campaign by sweeping Chinggis Warriors 2:0 before continuing through the upper bracket.
They then defeated NEXVOID and Rare Atom , sending both teams into the lower bracket and moving directly into the qualification match.
Chinggis Warriors recovered through the lower bracket to earn another opportunity against their domestic rivals.
The second meeting produced the same result.
5star again won both maps to complete the 2:0 sweep and secure their place at FISSURE Playground 3.
