xertioN calls for more respect after Mouz reach BLAST Porto semi-finals

Dorian "xertioN" Berman believes Mouz deserve more recognition for their results after the team secured direct passage to the BLAST Open Porto semi-finals.

Speaking ahead of the arena stage, the Mouz in-game leader reflected on a strong group-stage run and praised the development of newcomers Adrian "xelex" Vincze and Oldřich "PR" Nový.

Mouz cruise through group stage

Mouz reached the Porto playoffs without needing to survive the lower bracket.

Their group run included a convincing recovery against Falcons after suffering a difficult opening map on Nuke.

xertioN acknowledged that the Nuke performance was statistically poor, but felt the overall level of Counter-Strike shown by Mouz throughout the group stage was extremely high.

He described it as one of the team's most convincing group-stage performances in some time.

That run ultimately earned Mouz direct qualification to the semi-finals.

xelex and PR continue adapting

The lineup remains relatively new.

xertioN said xelex and PR still have room to improve when it comes to understanding the game at the same level as Mouz 's established core.

However, he praised both players for the amount of work they have put in and expressed satisfaction with how quickly they have progressed.

Their strong individual performances have helped Mouz remain competitive despite significant changes to the roster.

xertioN praises torzsi relationship

The Mouz captain also highlighted his relationship with Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás.

xertioN described the Hungarian AWPer as the best teammate he has ever had and praised his recent return to form.

torzsi's resurgence has provided another major source of firepower as Mouz enter the decisive stage of BLAST Open Porto.

Mouz unconcerned about semi-final opponent

Mouz will face the winner of FURIA Esports against Vitality in the semi-finals.

xertioN said he has no preference between the two teams.

Rather than hoping for an easier matchup, he believes Mouz must be capable of defeating any opponent if they intend to win the trophy.

With a direct semi-final berth already secured, Mouz now need only two more series victories to become BLAST Open Porto champions.
