Snappi steps down from NIP active roster

Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer has stepped down from Ninjas in Pyjamas ' active roster as the organization prepares to appoint a new in-game leader.

The decision was reached by mutual agreement and ends Snappi's spell as NIP's IGL after more than a year and a half.

NIP prepare leadership change

The move follows reports that Ninjas in Pyjamas had begun exploring new in-game leader options while also considering another roster change around current stand-in Roman "n0te" Hamze.

Snappi had led NIP since the beginning of 2025, when he replaced Alejandro "alex" Masanet.

During his tenure, the team struggled to establish itself consistently among the top teams in the world despite several smaller tournament victories and a quarterfinal appearance at PGL Astana.

Snappi could transition away from playing

The 36-year-old is reportedly open to moving into a different role after a professional playing career spanning nearly two decades.

Snappi has not yet announced his next step.

Following the move, NIP's active lineup consists of sjuush , xKacpersky , stavn and n0te, with Xizt remaining as coach.
