Jimpphat Leaves Mouz After 1503 Days
Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo has officially parted ways with Mouz , ending a 1503-day run with the German organization.
The Finnish rifler leaves after a long journey that took him from Mouz ’s academy system to the top level of Counter-Strike, where he became one of the team’s key players during its rise in the global rankings.
Mouz benched Jimpphat and in-game leader Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin on April 18, shortly after the team’s elimination from IEM Rio 2026. The organization promoted xelex from Mouz NXT and brought in jL on loan from NAVI as replacements.
The move followed a sharp decline in form for a roster that had been considered one of the strongest in the world only months earlier. In February, Jimpphat had denied rumors of a possible departure, saying he never wanted to leave Mouz and that the speculation had come out of nowhere.
Two months later, he was moved to the bench.
During his 1503 days with the organization, Jimpphat built an impressive résumé. His time with Mouz included titles at WePlay Academy League Season 4, ESL Pro League Seasons 18 and 19, BB Dacha Belgrade and PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025.
He also earned a place in the HLTV Top 20 players of 2024, finishing 17th.
Jimpphat was an important part of Mouz ’s strongest period in recent years. Between early 2025 and early 2026, the team reached at least the semifinals in 13 of 15 events and entered discussions as one of the best teams in the world.
He joined Mouz as a teenager in the academy system and leaves as an established tier-one player. His next destination has not yet been confirmed, but his time with Mouz played a major role in shaping his career.
