Valve has quietly added a new Easter egg to Mirage, paying tribute to magixx ’s memorable 1v4 clutch against G2 at the Cologne Major.

The reference appears as a jar of tomato sauce placed on a shelf inside the map. The label reads “Magic, secret sauce 4x,” with the “4x” serving as a clear nod to the four kills magixx secured during the clutch.

The prop is easy to miss during a normal match, but players exploring Mirage more slowly have started noticing the detail. With “Magic” written on the label and a tomato mascot included in the design, the reference is clearly tied to magixx ’s highlight moment.

The tribute is especially notable because Valve rarely immortalises specific plays directly on maps. This is the first time the developer has done so for a particular in-game moment since IEM Katowice 2019.

That long gap makes the addition feel more meaningful. magixx ’s 1v4 was already one of the standout rounds of the Cologne Major, and now it has been preserved inside one of Counter-Strike’s most iconic maps.

For fans, the Easter egg turns the clutch from a highlight-reel moment into a permanent part of Mirage’s environment.
