Gaimin Gladiators Record Worst Round Win Rate in Major Swiss History
Gaimin Gladiators have set an unwanted record at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 after finishing Stage 1 with the lowest round win rate ever recorded in a Major Swiss stage.
The Brazilian team ended the stage with a 23.5% round win rate across 68 rounds played. That figure is now the worst in Major Swiss history.
The previous record belonged to Virtus.pro at the ELEAGUE Major 2018, where the team won 25% of their rounds across 64 played. Gaimin Gladiators finished 1.5 percentage points below that mark, setting a new low eight years later.
Other teams on the all-time worst list include Metizport at the BLAST Austin Major 2025 with a 26.7% round win rate, Lynn Vision at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 with 29.7%, and FlipSid3 at the ELEAGUE Major 2018 Challenger Stage with 30.4%.
Gaimin Gladiators entered the Major as one of the more surprising teams in the FIELD , but their Stage 1 run showed the gap between qualifying for a Major and being able to compete at that level.
