At StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 2, teams gravitated most towards Train and Mirage, with each map being played 11 times. Dust2 and Inferno were picked slightly less often, while Ancient and especially Overpass remained niche choices, appearing more frequently in vetoes than in actual matches. The high ban rate of all seven maps indicates that teams tailored their map pool to their strengths and weaknesses, rather than relying on one or two "mandatory" maps for the tournament.

The distribution of wins between sides in Stage 2 was fairly balanced. Most maps remain slightly CT-sided, especially Inferno and Nuke, where defense holds a noticeable advantage, forcing the offense to play more creatively. Dust2 and Overpass are close to perfect parity, while Ancient leans slightly towards aggressive teams who excel at confident attacking plays and trades.
