FaZe vs aurora
After Stage 1, where FaZe were one step away from being eliminated from the tournament, they managed to gain form and secure their second win in Stage 2, defeating aurora 13:10 on Dust 2. aurora failed to impose their playstyle on the CT side and switched to the T side with only four rounds. After sides changed, FaZe were able to use their advantage, even despite the poor performance of Helvijs "broky" Saukants, who ended the match with 5 kills.
Passion UA vs MIBR
The match took place in the 0:1 bracket in a best-of-one format, and the veto led to yet another Mirage. The first half ended in a tied score (6:6), but in the second half, after losing the pistol round, Passion UA on the CT side managed to take three rounds in a row and then finish off the Brazilian roster, leaving the first day with a 1:1 record in the Swiss system.
