FaZe, Imperial , and PARIVISION Secure Final Spots at StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 2

The fifth round of Stage 1 StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 determined the last three participants for the next stage.

All matches were played in a best-of-three format and were decisive: a win guaranteed a spot in Stage 2, while a loss meant elimination from the tournament. This day featured comebacks, dominance, and incredible individual performances.

FaZe 2–1 Fluxo

Match Progression

Inferno (13:6 FaZe)

FaZe immediately took control of the game: confident defense, stable retakes, and individual skill allowed them to close the first map without unnecessary nerves.

Nuke (13:7 Fluxo )

Fluxo  showed their best side, winning key clutches and completely outplaying FaZe on the T-side. The Brazilians tied the score on maps, creating intrigue before the decisive Mirage.

Mirage (13:10 FaZe)

FaZe started poorly, but after the side switch, they delivered an incredible comeback 9–2. Strong micro-moments and stable site entries closed the match in favor of the European lineup.

The Canadian star was the key driver for FaZe on all three maps, especially in the crucial rounds of Mirage.

Imperial 2–0 NRG

Match Progression

NRG  were forced to play with daps instead of nitr0, and it significantly affected their team decisions.

Nuke (13:8 Imperial )

The Imperials pushed the pace, read the opponent well, and took decisive rounds in the second half (7–2).

Train (13:5 Imperial )

Full control from start to finish.  Imperial  outplayed NRG in all aspects: shooting, retakes, entry-clutches — a complete failure for NRG .

  • Rating - 7.4

noway delivered one of the best individual matches of the entire Stage 1, effectively setting the pace on both maps single-handedly.

  • Imperial qualifies for Stage 2.
  • NRG exits the Major in 9th-11th place.

PARIVISION 2–1 Legacy

Match Progression

Ancient (13:9 PARIVISION )

The Russian team demonstrated excellent tempo control, switching between aggression and slow rounds at the right moments.

Inferno (13:5 Legacy )

Legacy  responded with one of the best maps of the tournament: dominant defense and complete superiority in shooting.

Dust2 (19:16 PARIVISION )

A real thriller with overtimes.  PARIVISION  pulled out several hopeless rounds and managed to turn the game around in OT.

Match MVP: latto  

  • 63–43 K/D 
  • ADR 91 
  • Rating - 7.3

Despite the loss, latto was the standout player of the series, keeping Legacy in the game until the very end.

What's Next?

  • PARIVISION advances to Stage 2.
  • Legacy ends their participation, finishing in 9th-11th place.
