BetBoom Team Defeat BC.Game with s1mple , Advance to Upper Bracket Semifinals

BetBoom Team with Boombl4(Rus) secured a victory over BC.Game and s1mple with a score of 2:1 in the upper bracket quarterfinals of the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Europe - Cup 1. The Russian team managed to turn the match around after a rocky start and secured their spot in the next round.

The first map, Mirage, chosen by BC.Game, went their way — 13:7. Despite an even start, BetBoom Team couldn't maintain the fight in the second half and conceded. On Nuke, the situation changed dramatically: BetBoom Team dominated from the early rounds, winning the first half 9:3 and securing a convincing victory — 13:3. The decisive map, Dust2, tested both teams' resilience, but BetBoom Team appeared more confident. Closing the first half with a score of 7:5, they carried it through to victory — 13:7, finalizing the series score at 2:1.

The best player of the match was Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov, who recorded 46 kills with 29 deaths, 83 ADR, and a 7.4 rating. 

After the defeat, BC.Game with s1mple drops to the lower bracket, where they will face OG for survival in the tournament on August 26. BetBoom Team is confidently advancing through the bracket and will play against Zero Tenacity on August 27 for a spot in the final.

ESL Challenger League Season 50: Europe - Cup 1 is taking place online from August 11 to September 2. A total of 34 teams, some invited based on VRS points and others from ESEA Advanced, are competing for a prize pool of $25,000 and a slot at the Regional Final, where a spot in EPL S23 is up for grabs.
