Mouz destroyed NAVI, and NIP confidently knocked out Heroic at IEM Cologne 2025

NIP defeated Heroic 2-0, while Mouz beat NAVI by the same score. Both teams demonstrated strong teamwork and advanced in their brackets to the IEM Cologne 2025 playoffs, where NIP will face NAVI and Mouz will face the winner of the Spirit / aurora match, although they have already secured their place in the playoffs.

Mouz vs. NAVI
Mouz left NAVI no chance in the first semifinal of the upper bracket of Group B. On the map chosen by their opponent, Mirage, Mouz looked flawless, finishing the first half with a score of 7:5, but played perfectly on the attack 3:8. Despite losing several rounds, they secured the victory with a score of 13:10. On the second map, Nuke, NAVI finished the first half with a score of 9:3, but Mouz pulled ahead and won the map with a score of 13:10.

The best player of the match was Ivan "iM" Mihai, who finished the series with 49 kills and 36 deaths, demonstrating an ADR of 105.

NIP vs. Heroic
NIP secured a confident but hard-fought 2-0 victory over Heroic . On the first map, Train, chosen by Heroic , NIP dominated their opponents. Although Heroic showed some promise and took a few rounds, NIP turned the game around and crushed their opponents 13-4. Michel ‘ewjerkz’ Pinto was the best player. On Nuke, NIP started strong on offense and continued their momentum on defense, winning 13:6.

Michel ‘ewjerkz’ Pinto was the best player of the match, finishing the series with 33 kills and 18 deaths, achieving 96 ADR.

Both teams advance, Mouz secured their place in the playoffs, while NIP still have to fight for a place in the playoffs with NAVI. Mouz will play in the upper bracket final against the winner of the Spirit / aurora match. Meanwhile, Heroic have already left the tournament in 13th-16th place.

IEM Cologne 2025 is taking place from July 23 to August 3 in Germany . The tournament prize pool is $1,000,000.
